Serving 2-3 people
- 2 cup water
- 2 stalk lemongrass,bruised
- 2 Kaffir lime leaves
- 2-3 slices ginger
- 2-3 Thai bird’s eye chillies(smashed)
- 100gm of Shrimp(prawns),peeled and deveined
- 100 gm mushrooms(button or straw),slices
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1-2 tbsp lime juice(adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1-2 tsp tom yum paste(this one is optional in case you want ultra experience)
- For garnishing have fresh coriander or spring onion

Procedure
Step 1 –
Take a pot,boil water with lemongrass,galangal,lime leaves and chillies for 5 minutes to have the soup broth
Step 2 –
Then add mushrooms and cook it for further 2-3 minutes
Step 3 –
Now add shrimp and cook until they turn into pink colour
Season it with fish sauce,lime juice,sugar and Tom yum paste if you are using it for an ultra delicacy experience
Step 4 –
Now,adjust spice level according to your taste
Remove from heat
garnish it with spring onion and fresh coriander leaves
Serve hot and enjoy the delicacy
